Edmonton Unlimited

Edmonton Unlimited started in 2010 as Startup Edmonton. I began working with Startup Edmonton in 2015 as a Marketing Expert and Digital Media Expert, training new startup founders on developing marketing strategies and leading classes for anyone in the community to learn about small business marketing.

In 2020 Startup Edmonton was transformed from a community-building organization to a fully funded municipal mandate by the City of Edmonton. I spoke to the city council on the history of Startup Edmonton and the importance of training small to medium enterprises in digital and traditional marketing strategies and execution. I was asked to sit on a team of six local experts to rebrand Startup Edmonton into Edmonton Unlimited and build out the mandate to encourage and unite innovation in our community to develop jobs and contribute to the city’s enduring economic vitality.
